Strengthening the construction of civic morality and improving the moral quality of all members of society is a long-term urgent,complicated and arduous task in the new era.Since the socialism with Chinese characteristics entered the new era,the world conditions,national conditions and party conditions have undergone tremendous changes,and higher requirements have been placed on the construction of civic morality.In 2019,the "Outline for the Implementation of Citizen Moral Construction in the New Era" paid special attention to the construction of Chinese citizens' morality,and emphasized the need to play the role of schools in order to improve students' civic morality.In recent years,my country's civic moral education in middle schools has achieved certain results,but there are still many problems in the detailed study of its objectives,content,methods and evaluation.Looking at the UK from afar,civic education has always been attached great importance.Even though the development has been slow and the effect is not good for a long period of time,its lessons and experiences are worthy of dialectical learning.It is worth mentioning that after the middle school civic education became a British national curriculum,it has achieved great results in terms of objectives,content,methods and evaluation.This is obviously a place that our country's middle school civic education needs to learn from.Therefore,under the historical background of the new era,researching and exploring the excellent core of civic education in British secondary schools from the perspective of civic moral education in our country is more helpful to promote the development of civic moral education in secondary schools in my country.The main content of this paper includes the following five parts:Part ?: Concisely explained the origin and significance of the research of this article,the status quo of domestic and foreign research on this,determined the research ideas and methods adopted,explained the innovations and deficiencies,in order to grasp this problem from a macro perspective.Part ?: the basic overview of citizenship education in British secondary schools,analysis of the historical background of the development of citizenship education in British secondary schools,a brief introduction of its evolution process,and on this basis,summarizes the development characteristics of civic education in British secondary schools,and defines the basic concepts related to it.Part ?: Focus on exploring the system framework of civic education in British secondary schools,and conduct comprehensive,specific and in-depth excavation of civic education in British secondary schools in terms of objectives,content,approaches,evaluation,etc,comprehensively and comprehensively.Part ?: to expose the main problems of citizenship education in British secondary schools,analyze the important reasons behind the problems,including the ruling party,liberalism,decentralization of education,multiculturalism and other factors,and then summarize the development trend of citizenship education in British secondary schools.Part ?: From the standpoint of our country's civic moral education,we will examine the development of civic moral education in British secondary schools,and based on the achievements and problems encountered in the development of civic education in British secondary schools,we will summarize historical lessons and make efforts to criticize and learn from,with a view to a new era for our country.The development of civic moral education in middle schools seeks a new path.
