Idioms are the crystallization of the wisdom of the working people in our country,which accumulate the splendid culture created by the Chinese nation for thousands of years,and are the inheritance of the long history and culture of the Chinese nation.As a valuable cultural heritage,idioms not only have high language and cultural value,but also have high historical and cultural value.Idioms contain vivid and interesting stories,and their characteristics of life,circulation and education were once used as an important carrier of children's enlightenment.With the passage of time,idiom stories involve ancient things or phenomena,because later generations are gradually unfamiliar and lack of understanding.Although it has the characteristics of knowledge carrier,it is seldom used purposefully and planned in early childhood education activities nowadays.This study believes that idioms have been deeply rooted in the soil of Chinese culture.If we can select idioms that are suitable for children to recognize,and apply them to the story activities of kindergarten class,we can use the vivid stories contained in idioms and add idiom storybooks to guide children to contact idioms and familiarize them with idioms and experience the fun of kindergarten idiom story activities,We really feel the richness and variety of Chinese traditional culture.In the quiet,it can not only form the sense of identity and belonging to the national culture,but also improve the pre reading behavior and pre reading habits,pre reading comprehension and pre reading strategies,pre reading expression and pre reading judgment,and then obtain the awareness and sensitivity of written language,which lays a good foundation for the study of formal written language in the later period.The main part of the study consists of research design,data and data analysis,practical exploration,thinking and suggestions.In the process of research,literature method,investigation method,interview method,observation method and action research method are mainly used.Firstly,literature method is used to sort out and collect relevant literature to determine the research topic;Secondly,by using the methods of investigation,interview and observation,this paper investigates five representative public kindergartens in D city of Qiannan Prefecture,and analyzes the situation of idiom story activities to improve children's pre reading ability;Thirdly,two large classes of children(20 children in each class)in one of the five kindergartens(W kindergarten)were selected as the research objects,and the formative evaluation method was used to test the children's pre reading ability,so as to understand the development level of large class children's pre reading ability;Fourth,collect and screen idioms suitable for large class children's reading,follow the practice path of "pre-test ? practice ? reflection ? re practice ? re reflection ?verification ? post test",take idioms as the carrier,carry out idiom story activities in kindergartens,and explore the practice of improving large class children's pre reading ability,so as to achieve the research purpose of improving children's pre reading ability;Finally,the practice summary,put forward the idiom story activity to improve the reading ability of large class children before thinking and suggestions.This practice activity not only improves children's pre reading ability,but also makes Chinese traditional culture naturally integrate into children's mind,and finally achieves the goal of cultural inheritance.
