"The Main Problem" teaching method originated in the 1990 s,it was first proposed by YU YINGCHAO who is teacher.This view is consistent with the concept new currriculum which encourages students as the main body while teachers as the leading.What's more," The Main Problem " teaching method can effectively solve the teaching issues in current high school novel teaching such as consolidation of teaching contents and aging of teaching methods.It can provide the current high school novel teaching with new teaching ideas.Through the analysis of the questionnaire survey,it is found that the problems in the current novel teaching are as follows: poor knowledge of novel text interpretation,consolidation of teaching content,aging of teaching methods and templated teaching procedures;However,there are also some problems in the teaching method of " "The Main Problem" in novel teaching,such as the imbalance in the creation,the excessive number and the failure to stimulate the enthusiasm of student in "The Main Problem".According to current situation of high school novel teaching and the present situation of the application of "The Main Problem" teaching method,Specialists put forward the corresponding countermeasures: firstly,according to the novel text type,LIHAILIN once devided them into four categories as following,characters novels,plot novels,poetic prosification novelsand the modernist novels.Issues of poor knowledge in current norvel teaching can be setteled by creating "The Main Problem" according to the features of above four fiction genres from text types.Secondly,"main questions" are created based on the teaching content of novels.However,teaching content of novels mainly includes the title of the text,key words and sentences,examination points and the intention of the editor.This specific strategy can solve the problems of solidified teaching content and template teaching procedures in the current teaching of novels.In the end,The creation of "The Main Problem" from the aspect of students',it can respectively from the students' interest in learning and students need to master the language skills to study,putting forward the strategy can effectively solve the issues that appeares in the process of application of "main problem" teaching method such as imbalances,excessive number,do not stimulate students enthusiasm in "main problem""The Main Problem" teaching method applied in high school novel teaching can make current high school novel teaching more suitable for new education concept,and be able to make more teachers students understand and master the basic definition and characteristics of "the main problem" teaching method,it also applied to other style of teaching,so the application of "the main problem" teaching research can provide new feasibility for the current Chinese teaching method.
