The Influence Of New Media On College Students' Political Identity And Countermeasures

The study of political identity is not only an academic issue,but also a social and educational issue.With the change of Internet information technology and the rise of new mobile communication technology,the development of new media has been promoted.Relying on the Internet,a variety of new media have emerged,such as We Chat,Alipay,Headline and Tik Tok.The impact of these new media on people's lives has entered all aspects.The birth of new media has brought great challenges to the traditional media industry.Because of the more convenient and rich information dissemination,new media has gradually weakened the influence of traditional media,mainly in the form of TV,newspaper and radio.However,new media not only provides people with rich information,but also is affected by many factors such as economic globalization,information diversification and cultural diversification,so people's values,mainstream ideology and political identity are also affected.In the process of social and cultural integration,the state's cultivation and promotion of political identity of citizens,especially the political identity of contemporary college students,plays an important role in ensuring the stable and orderly development of the country.In this paper,literature research and comparative research are used to analyze the use of new media by college students and the status quo of political identity,so as to analyze the reasons for the weakening of political identity of college students caused by new media,and put forward how to cultivate political identity of college students.The thesis is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction,which expounds the background,significance and research summary of the new media's influence on College Students' political identity.The second part combs the concept and characteristics of new media,political identity,and explains the relationship between new media and college students' political identity.The third part expounds the influence of new media on the education of College Students' political identity.The fourth part puts forward the problems in the education of College Students' political identity under the influence of new media and analyzes the reasons.The fifth part puts forward the corresponding solutions according to the problems.The last part of the paper is the conclusion,which summarizes the research of this paper and puts forward the prospect.
