| The participation of residents in the process of urban community development plays an important role in promoting the construction of democracy at the grass-roots level,strengthening the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and promoting the overall progress and development of the society.Many problems have been exposed in the old urban communities due to their long time,which hinders the development of urbanization.Solving the problems of old communities is related to the improvement of residents’ happiness of life,which is of great significance to social development.With the accelerating process of democratization,residents’ participation has attracted more and more attention from all walks of life,and the effect of community development depends to a large extent on the degree of residents’ participation.With the help of professional theories and methods of social work,according to the status quo and problems of old community residents’ participation,this study urges community residents to actively participate in community affairs in practice,and finds an effective way to promote the participation of old community residents,so as to accelerate the solution of the problem of old urban communities in China.This paper will help Harbin S street H community residents to participate in the practical process of community affairs as the focus of research,with the help of literature research method,questionnaire method,interview method and observation method four research methods,to investigate the status quo of community residents’ participation.The results show that residents have the following four problems in their participation in community affairs,that is,the overall participation rate of residents is low and the willingness to participate is weak,the structure of the participants is unbalanced,the channels of participation are not smooth,and the content of participation is single.This paper analyzes the causes of community residents’ participation problems from two levels of subject and object.The subject level includes residents’ lack of community belonging and sense of identity,residents’ participation conditions are limited,residents’ subjective consciousness is not strong,the object level includes community participation system is not perfect,residents’ participation interest mechanism is missing.Based on the above for community residents to participate in the analysis of the status quo,problems and reasons,to carry out social work helping old city community residents to participate in the practice of community affairs,on the basis of the theory of regional development pattern and empowerment,through the mobilization of stage,preparation stage,strengthening stage,implementation stage to carry out specific activities,mobilize residents participate in community activities.Finally to evaluate overall intervention of social work practice and reflection,namely to evaluate service completion and service results,reflect on social work intervention in H community-driven residents to participate in its deficiency in practice,and finally put forward further Suggestions to promote the community residents to participate effectively in social work,by promoting the participation of residents to solve the problem of the community,to achieve better effect of community participation. |
