As China's close neighbor,South Korean has played an important role in the craze of learning Chinese.In recent years,Chinese teaching in Korean vocational high schools is also booming,and the number of vocational high school students learning Chinese is increasing year by year.As a non-intellectual factor,learning motivation plays an important role in Chinese learning.It not only affects learning interest,but also directly affects learning results.Therefore,studying learning motivation has unique and important significance for vocational high schools.During the teaching practice in Korean vocational high school,it was found that learners have problems such as inattention,lack of motivation,and low interest in the process of Chinese learning,which hindered the effectiveness and progress of vocational high school students' Chinese learning.Therefore,the research on the above issues hopes to enhance the Chinese identity of vocational high school students and enhance their motivation to learn Chinese.After reading and sorting out relevant learning motivation theories and literature,this article uses questionnaire surveys,interviews,and classroom observation methods to investigate and analyze the learning motivations of Chinese learners in Chungnam Machinery Industry High School,intending to have a more complete description of the Chinese learning motivation of this special group.At the same time,according to the relevant teaching practice and learner characteristics,it analyzes the factors that influence the motivation of Chinese learning in vocational high school students and proposes relevant stimulating strategies,which can provide some references for the in-depth and detailed research in the future.Through the analysis of the questionnaire survey results and related interview cases,it is found that Korean vocational high school students' Chinese learning motivations are generally weak,and they are mostly manifested as external motivations with poor continuity and stability.Most students choose to learn Chinese just to get credits,and lack interest and enthusiasm for Chinese knowledge.There are also a small number of students who want to study,travel,and work in China,showing a certain positive attitude towards Chinese culture.Based on the above survey results,after analyzing the causes of Korean vocationalhigh school students' Chinese learning motivation,it is found that the external environment,Chinese teachers,learners themselves,and teaching resources all have a certain impact on Chinese learning motivation.Therefore,starting from these four aspects,we put forward targeted stimulating strategies,and elaborated on Chinese teachers from the perspective of volunteer Chinese teachers in Korea.It mainly includes the improvement of the internal quality and external accomplishment of Chinese teachers,the improvement of teaching content and students' majors,the improvement of teaching methods,the activation of classroom atmosphere,and the improvement of the evaluation mechanism of practice.In order to promote the better development of Chinese in Korean vocational high schools.
