| With the advent of the era of information and globalization, the cultivation of compound innovative talents has gradually become a decisive factor in the improvement of international competitiveness of various countries.Based on the background of the innovation of talent training model in the information age,STEM education came into being.STEM education attempts to cross-integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and other disciplines, eliminate barriers between disciplines, and cultivate comprehensive talents with problem-solving and innovative abilities.STEM education and project learning have many things in common, and teaching activities are often carried out in the form of project learning when implemented in the real field. In recent years, experts at home and abroad have conducted in-depth research on STEM project-based teaching and found that STEM project-based teaching has significant results in cultivating students’ problem-solving and innovative abilities, but it also has certain limitations.STEM project-based teaching emphasizes that students use the cross integration of multi-disciplinary knowledge to solve practical problems, breaking the original knowledge system of various disciplines in traditional education, causing students’ knowledge structure confusion, unclear logic, and difficulty in forming a systematic knowledge system.Based on this, this research proposes to introduce knowledge map into STEM project-based teaching. From the perspective of knowledge integration, design the STEM project-based teaching process and specific cases based on knowledge map,and implement it in front-line education and teaching to explore the concept of knowledge map STEM project-based teaching under the influence of students’ knowledge construction, learning attitude and ability improvement. The specific research content and results are summarized as follows:This research adopts research methods such as literature research method, quasiexperimental research method, questionnaire survey method and interview method to carry out STEM project-based teaching design and practice based on knowledge map;the research process is mainly divided into research, analysis, construction, design, implementation and Six stages of effect testing.First, use the literature research method to sort out relevant domestic and foreign research and analyze the connotation and status quo of STEM education, project learning and knowledge maps.Secondly,it sorts out the relevant research on the application of knowledge maps in the education field, and analyzes the specific role of knowledge maps in STEM project-based teaching.Thirdly,it elaborates the construction method of knowledge map, constructs subject knowledge map based on elementary science curriculum, and determines the two project themes of "parachute" and "periscope" with reference to subject knowledge map, analyzes the content of the project, and constructs the project knowledge map.Fourth, based on the concepts of STEM education and project learning, combined with the characteristics of knowledge maps, put forward the principles of STEM project-based instructional design based on knowledge maps, and design the teaching process on this basis, clarify that the STEM project-based instructional design based on knowledge maps includes There are five parts: pre-analysis,learning community design, learning activity design, learning support design and teaching evaluation design.Fifth, based on the above teaching design process, the "parachute" and "periscope" projects are specifically designed, and the designed teaching cases are implemented in the Q school in Rizhao City. Finally, through test questions, questionnaire surveys, project results scoring and interviews, the results of practice are analyzed and research conclusions are drawn.Research shows that: knowledge maps are applied to STEM project-based teaching to a certain extent;STEM project learning based on knowledge maps can stimulate students’ interest in learning and improve their enthusiasm and initiative;STEM project learning based on knowledge maps can promote students’ learning The mastery and application of multidisciplinary knowledge can improve students’ academic performance;STEM project learning based on knowledge maps can cultivate students’ comprehensive abilities such as academic ability, project execution ability, collaborative communication ability, problem solving ability, and innovation ability. |
