| Modern times are an important historical period for the reform and development of education in our country.With the strong impact of Western culture,how to realize the transformation of Chinese traditional ethics and moral system to modern ethics and moral system through moral revolution and national character transformation,and then realize the transformation of Chinese society from "tradition" to "modern",has become an important theme of the educational reform in modern China.The Education Magazine and Chinese Education Circle,which were born in the early 20 th century,faithfully record the difficult and tortuous development process of modern moral education in my country with their advantages of high quality,long publication life and great influence.In other words,every change in modern moral education in our country can find traces of thought in these two periodicals.As valuable historical materials for recording modern Chinese education,they have expanded the space and broadened horizons for the study of modern Chinese moral education thoughts.Through these two journals,we can clearly see the evolution of modern moral education.From their research themes,we can estimate the trajectory of thoughts,seek thought enlightenment,and draw useful nutrients to provide assistance,reference and enlightenment for the reform of modern school moral education.This article aims to take the two journals Education Magazine and Chinese Education Circle as clues,based on a large number of first-hand historical documents and historical materials,through literature reading,analysis,and comparison and correlation with the content of works of the same period,in chronological order and combining history background,try to clarify the prominent themes of the two periodicals in each period and the evolution trend of the changes in the theme of moral education,and analyze the main content of each major moral education theme;The motivation,trajectory and characteristics of the change are explained in depth and objectively;based on this premise,the contemporary value and enlightenment of the evolution of the moral education theme of modern education journals in China are summarized.Through the in-depth analysis of the moral education themes of the two periodicals of Education Magazine and Chinese Education Circle,we can find that from the feudal moral education view to the discussion of "public morality" and "private morality" in the late Qing Dynasty,and then to the transition from "subject" to "citizen".The succession of education and the continuous movement from discipline to democracy are the basic trajectories of modern moral education in our country step by step towards modern moral education and the formation of a theoretical system that meets the needs of social development.Research on the topic of moral education in modern periodicals is not only an unavoidable topic in contemporary moral education theory research,but also provides a true and objective reference for how to construct a localized system of moral education theory in the contemporary context,reconsider the trajectory of the integration of Chinese and Western moral education,and continue to promote the modernization of moral education. |
