With the continuous deepening of domestic and foreign scholars' research on educational issues,the study of cultivating students' ability of mathematical problem posing has been valued by scholars in recent years.KWL teaching model is a kind of teaching,which pays attention to students' ability of posing questions.K stands for “know”,W stands for“want to know”,and L stands for “learned”.In this thesis,KWL teaching model is used to improve students' ability of mathematical problem posing.The subject of this research is the second-year seniors,and the research method is mainly experimental method.The main researches are as follows: The first part introduces the research background,and analyzes the significance of using KWL teaching model to cultivate students' ability of mathematical problem posing.The second part defines the related concepts,and summarizes the existing theoretical basis of KWL teaching model and students' ability of mathematical problem posing.The third part develops tools of measurement and evaluation for students' ability of mathematical problem posing,designs the operation process of applying KWL teaching model of high school mathematics classes,and analyzes the experiment of one semester.In the end,statistical methods are used to collect and organize data in time.Through analysis and discussions,the author further examines the impact of KWL teaching model on students' ability of mathematical problem posing and mathematics academic performance.The findings are as follows:(1)The KWL teaching model is suitable for the Senior Two mathematics class,and students have a high degree of recognition of the model.They also recognize that problem posing plays an important role in learning and their awareness of questioning is gradually increasing;(2)The KWL teaching model is conducive to improving students' ability of mathematical problems posing,and it has a significant effect on students with medium and low levels of questioning ability.In the dimension of problem fluency and flexibility,the score was higher after implementation of KWL teaching model than before,and reached a remarkable difference;in the dimension of problem originality,the scores were similar and did not reach a remarkable difference;(3)Students' ability of mathematical problem posing has a positive correlation with students' mathematics academic performance.After the implementation of the KWL teaching model,students' mathematical academic performance was better than before,and the differences are significant.
