Research On Case Work To Alleviate Parent-child Conflict In Single Parent Families

With the diversified development of the family and social structure,the current situation of single parents may be caused by various influencing factors in the family,such as divorce,spouse death and so on.Single-parent families have become a common phenomenon in modern society.Because of the different causes of single-parent families,the individual's own situation is different,and the feelings of single-parents are different.In recent years,the number of single-parent families has shown an increasing trend.The various contradictions and problems brought about by incomplete family structure will affect the parent-child relationship between parents and teenagers,and will also affect the bodies of teenagers who are in the growing stage.It has a negative impact on psychology,leading to various family problems:poor communication between parents and children,lack of communication skills,low frequency of communication,lack of trust,etc.There are many reasons that accompany parent-child conflicts.From a family perspective,changes in family structure,lack of family education roles and functions,and family intergenerational differences will affect the harmonious relationship between parents and children;from a personal perspective,Young people's own factors can also cause parent-child conflicts;from a social perspective,social public opinion hinders family harmony.Therefore,this study takes adolescents in a single-parent family in a certain community as the client and the conflict between the adolescent and the mother as the research object,analyzes the current situation and causes of parent-child conflict in the case family,and uses structured family therapy to intervene in the family.Targeted implementation of six-stage case activities to explore how to effectively solve the problem of parent-child conflict in single-parent families.In this paper,the small Y family with parent-child conflict in S community is taken as the service object.First of all,through collecting relevant data from single-parent families and issuing parent-child relationship scale,this paper analyzes the possible problems and causes of the small Y family.Secondly,make a reasonable service plan and intervention plan according to the actual situation,and adopt the method of structured family therapy in this case study.On the basis of relevant theories,combine professional skills and practical steps,and flexibly use this method to help clients and families solve problems in the intervention process;In the course of treatment,we found out the problems in the family,explored the inner world of the clients and family members,understood their inner thoughts,observed the unbalanced family structure and changed the bad structure,created the situation of changing the family structure,enabled the family members to learn how to solve family problems independently and use them rationally,eased the parent-child conflict between single-parent families,increased the communication time,frequency and methods between parents and children,and improved the bad parent-child interaction mode.Finally,through professional evaluation of the effect of social work service,it reflects the effect of service,summarizes the whole service and puts forward some suggestions on parent-child conflict.
