The Practical Research Of Social Work Intervention In The Training Of Community Volunteers

Since the reform and opening-up,China’s economy has developed rapidly and people’s lives have become happier and happier.However,with the transformation of society and the transformation of government functions,as well as the people’s growing needs for daily life,the accompanying social problems have also become complicated and varied,the principal contradiction in our society has been transformed into a contradiction between the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development.Community is the basic unit of governance,and volunteers are engaged in community service important participants,they have an important role in community social organization construction and community governance.During my internship in Jinan’s q community,I found that the community volunteer service ability and management mechanism are not professional and mature enough,which may have an impact on the quality of volunteer service in the community,therefore,enhancing the capacity of community volunteers training has become a key issue in the development of community volunteer service.The core content of this paper is from the perspective of social work,with the concept of social work and practical skills to strengthen the capacity of community volunteers to promote the development of local voluntary service into professional disciplines.The design of this article is as follows.First of all,using the method of participant observation and unstructured interview to investigate and analyze the present situation of the volunteers in the q community,and to understand the current situation of the development of the volunteers in the q community,it is found that there are some problems in community volunteers,such as single crowd structure,uneven overall quality,weak sense of participation,irregular organizational structure,loose connection between volunteers and volunteers,between volunteers and volunteer teams,etc..In order to solve these problems,this paper adopts the theory of increasing capacity,makes out the project plan of Social Worker’s intervention,at the same time,puts forward the goal that the project is expected to achieve,and uses the method of group work to train and enhance the ability of the recruited volunteers,through the Organization of six group activities with different contents,the group members can gain knowledge accumulation and exercise in class.It is expected that three core volunteer members will be selected in the last training session,the goal is to guide the volunteer ability promotion and the standard volunteer troop construction.Finally,the evaluation and summary of the whole project,we found that through the intervention of social workers to enhance the capacity of volunteers training,indeed achieved significant results,but due to the author’s limited capacity,there are research gaps,need to explore the next step according to the actual situation of the community,I also stand in the social work point of view to put forward some suggestions,hope to help the next community volunteer capacity.
