A Study On The Impact Of Education Policy And Urban Development Level On The Separation Of Parents And Children's Families Of Floating Population

At present,China is in an era of rapid increase in the number and scale of population mobility.In this context,we should take the initiative to pay attention to the living conditions of such a large group of migrant population.The social attribute of the floating population lies in whether it can better integrate into the city.The floating population is the need of urban construction,and the development and construction of the city will also affect the living conditions of the floating population and their children.The education policy also sets up a barrier between the floating population and their children moving with each other.Therefore,the separation of the floating population and their children in different places is a family tragedy under the urbanization construction,and it is a non optimal family decision made by the floating population due to external factors,That is,the reason of forced choice.Therefore,this paper will focus on the impact of urban development level and education policy factors on the separation of floating population and children.Although at present many families benefit from the income brought by their parents' going out and moving,in the long run,in such an era where knowledge and skills need to be constantly updated,the descendants of the floating population who are separated from their parents for a long time are likely to fall into poverty at the economic level,so they are trapped at the bottom of the social ladder;at the spiritual level,they are also prone to some psychological diseases.Therefore,the society needs to pay attention to the family integrity of the floating population,rather than just studying the living and working conditions of the floating population in the inflow area.Only by focusing on the family,can the selection rationality of the floating population family be further changed.Based on this,it is significant to study the influence of urban development factors and education factors on the separation of floating population and children.Based on the dynamic monitoring data of China's floating population in 2016,under the guidance of human capital theory,dual economic theory and social integration theory,this paper considers that the level of urban development and education policy are the decisive factors for the decision-making of the floating population and their children's separation,as well as the decisive factors for the separation time of the floating population and their children.We find that the floating population is more likely to choose to be separated from their children when they do not accept the college entrance examination in other cities;the higher the per capita GDP of the city,the less likely the floating population is to choose to be separated from their children,and the higher the ratio of industrial structure and the multiple of spatial differences in housing prices of the city,the more likely the floating population is to choose to be separated from their children.In addition,for the floating population that has been separated from their children,we find that the time of separation between the floating population and their children is longer when the flowing city does not accept the college entrance examination in other cities;the higher the multiple of the spatial difference between the per capita GDP and the house price of the moving city in urban factors,the longer the separation time between the floating population and their children;and the higher the ratio of the industrial structure of the moving city,the longer the separation time between the floating population and their children The shorter the separation time with children;To sum up,this paper completed the research focus of the floating population from the perspective of individual to the perspective of family.From the aspect of urban development and education policy,this paper explores the factors that cause the "family failure" of floating population.The integrity of the floating population family is the basis for the family to bear the social labor force in production,and the growth and development of children is also the basic function of the family.The family has undertaken the duty of maintaining social harmony.Similarly,the society should be responsible for each family.At the same time,in order to give credit to the accelerated urbanization process,we also need to help the floating population to absorb family members and achieve the integrity of their families.Therefore,the results of this study provide a direction for all sectors of society to help the floating population to achieve a happier family migration.
