Since the new round of basic education curriculum reform has been carried out in depth,it emphasizes the inquiry teaching and the cultivation of junior high school students' inquiry spirit and ability.With the progress and development of social science and information technology in China,teachers and students' parents have begun to realize the relationship and importance of inquiry teaching and the cultivation of junior high school students' inquiry spirit and ability.Therefore,in recent years,inquiry teaching has been widely used and developed in junior high school physics classroom.But in some remote rural areas and remote areas,there may be some problems.Because of various reasons,the ability of junior middle school students in some areas to master and explore physical knowledge is different from that of junior middle school students in some big cities.In order to further understand the actual situation of rural junior middle school students' physical inquiry ability,According to the observation of physics class in a township junior high school in Wensu County,four physics inquiry classes of class 1,Grade 8 and class 1,grade 9 of our school are taken as the observation objects,which are "to explore the change rule of temperature when solid melts","to explore the reflection rule of light","to explore the situation of heat absorption of different substances","to explore the relationship of electric current in series circuit",By referring to the existing research literature and the established evaluation system of inquiry ability,this paper evaluates the degree of inquiry of each key element of inquiry ability specified in the standard,and finds out the following problems through analysis: the problems of inquiry are always given by teachers,and students often do not actively put forward effective problems,The lack of motive force,conjecture and hypothesis of active and independent thinking is often ignored by students,and the theoretical and practical ability of designing scientific experiments and making inquiry plans is not strong,They lack the ability of independent experiment and operation,the ability to describe and explain the results of inquiry is not strong,they will not actively put forward the existing problems and improvement plans,most students will not actively and accurately express their views.Although there are some shortcomings in this study,such as narrow practice objects,lack ofdata comparison in other regions or other schools,the existing problems and improvement suggestions can provide some practical materials for other relevant studies.It is mainly completed by the research idea of theory practice theory.The first is to study the theory,this research link is mainly through reading other relevant literature to understand the current situation of the research,and to summarize this,select research methods and content,explain the relevant concepts and theoretical basis,and prepare for the practice part.The second is practice,which is mainly through classroom observation to understand the actual situation of rural junior middle school students' physical inquiry ability and find out the existing problems.At last,the paper concludes the research through the related theoretical knowledge.
