The development of senior high school students’ association activities is a supplement to classroom teaching and can make up for the lack of classroom teaching.It realizes the combination of inside and outside the classroom,the equal emphasis on knowledge and ability,the coordination between students’ personality and the requirements of social development,and the goal of interaction between school and society,which highlights the brilliance of school campus culture.Carrying out rich and colorful community activities not only enriches students’ extracurricular life,develops their specialties and exercises their ability,but also contributes to the construction of campus culture.The development of high school student associations in our country is uneven,in which the high quality high school students’ association activities are rich and colorful,but the ordinary high school students’ association activities are almost zero,the reasons for this phenomenon are one of the different degrees of attention and support of the school leaders to the development of the student associations,the other is the lack of understanding of the students’ community activities,resulting in the students’ enthusiasm to participate in the community activities is not high.Different schools have their own particularity,mainly rooted in the differences of school purposes and ideas,as well as the characteristics of students themselves.Therefore,by investigating the present situation of the development of student associations in two senior middle schools in Shandong and Yunnan,this paper sums up the experiences,existing problems and reasons that can be used for reference in their development,thinks about the development of senior high school students’ associations and gives some suggestions,hoping to be helpful to improve the development of senior high school students’ associations.The paper includes four parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the reason of the topic and the purpose and significance of this study,and analyzes the understanding of the senior high school student associations and the students’ participation in the school student associations.The second part mainly defines the basic concepts of this paper and introduces the relevant policies and theoretical basis of this paper.The third part,through the investigation and interview of two senior middle schools in Yunnan and Shandong,describes the general situation of the two sample schools and the activities of student associations,determines the design of the investigation and research,according to the investigation and summary of the present situation of the development of student associations in two senior middle schools in Shandong and Yunnan,determines that there are different problems in the development of student associations in the interest period,perplexity period,stable period and characteristic period,and analyzes the causes of the problems.The fourth part thinks about the problems and causes,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.Therefore,the author believes that senior middle schools of different nature should carry out community activities in accordance with the characteristics of their own students according to the actual situation of the school,which can be used to improve the comprehensive quality of students and reduce the learning pressure of students,which is also the requirement of quality education for the development of education in the present era.
