With the change of The Times,the teaching objects that physical education now faces present new challenges to physical education.Under the mode of traditional sports teaching how to solve the poor students' initiative and even dislike sports,students of physical education learning how new needs,how to in the process of teaching students to bring new,sustained motivation,by means of new teaching methods and practice related to motivate and keep students' learning motivation,improve the teaching effect and efficiency,and so on a series of problems of modern school sports education has always been waiting for the inquiry.According to the sports teaching practice,this study in order to leap high jump to the teaching material,ARCS motivation model as the theoretical guidance,according to the theory of ARCS motivation design strategy used in the high jump teaching and preliminary probe into ARCS motivation design patterns in different teaching materials,teaching objects,teaching situation,the effect of contrast to the traditional teaching mode is new effects,in absorbing the traditional teaching mode of the original on the basis of a lot of experience of teaching research and achievements,based on the theory of ARCS motivation mode,combined with the psychological characteristics of middle school students and learning characteristics,design can effectively stimulate and maintain students' learning motivation teaching application strategy,According to the students' learning situation,the teaching plan and the design strategy are designed and adjusted.This paper discusses the influence of students' learning motivation and learning effect on the teaching strategy based on this motivational model,so as to provide new ideas for producing positive effects in middle school students' track and field teaching practice.This study comes to the conclusion as follows on the basis of the use of literature review,questionnaire,teaching experiment,data collection and analysis as well as related research methods:1.In terms of learning motivation,compared with traditional teaching,the application of ARCS motivation design model in the teaching of high jump has a significant difference with the P value < 0.01 on the overall level.There weresignificant differences between P < 0.01 of correlation,confidence and satisfaction.There was a significant difference between P < 0.05 in attention category.2.After the experiment,the two kinds of teaching high jump height and technical performance were compared,and the P < 0.05 of the two results had a significant difference,and the design mode had a better improvement of learning effect.3.Through research and analysis,it is found that the ARCS motivational design model more effectively reflects the positive influence of students' learning motivation on the growth of their academic performance,improves their learning mood and enthusiasm,and cultivates their positive learning attitude.It can effectively stimulate students' interest in learning,maintain their attention in the learning process,effectively improve students' learning ability and application ability,have a positive impact on students' learning emotion and cognition,and produce obvious promotion effect in the category of relevance and self-confidence.In comparison to the traditional teaching system,two teaching modes involved have both stimulated and encouraged students' motivations to learn as well as their maintenance,the traditional teaching mode is more stable and universal in teaching implementation,but in terms of the effect of teaching and learning motivation,ARCS design mode has a better effect on the transformation from learning interest to learning achievement.
