Composition teaching is an important part of high school Chinese teaching,and composition scores play an important role in the Chinese paper for the college entrance examination.The Chinese education community has long paid attention to students’ writing problems.Experts and scholars and front-line Chinese teachers have analyzed and proposed solutions from different aspects.Judging from the content of the article,an important part of an article is writing materials,and high-quality materials can enrich the article and improve the quality of the article.From the perspective of the writing process,the accumulation of writing materials belongs to the source of writing difficulties.Writing the source problems will be logical.The use of writing materials is an output process that determines whether a high-quality article can be completed in the end.Therefore,studying the accumulation and application of writing materials will help solve the problems of students in writing and improve the quality of writing.This article aims at the current situation of the accumulation and application of writing materials for high school students,and analyzes the problems and causes of students’ accumulation and application of writing materials,and proposes solutions based on the actual situation.Put the accumulation and application of writing materials in the context of the new curriculum standards,while looking for solutions,pay more attention to the requirements of the new curriculum standards for writing.Based on the current situation of the high school student group,it has certain significance for the implementation of the new curriculum standards and the improvement of high school students’ writing.At the same time,it will also help the writing teaching of high school Chinese teachers.Through questionnaire surveys of students at differentlevels in three different schools,it is found that current high school students have problems such as insufficient material accumulation,fewer types,single content,and lack of logic in the use of materials.This leads to that in the process of using materials,most of the materials used are invalid materials,and the writing speculativeness advocated by the new curriculum standards is also less reflected.The main reasons are that students have limited space for activities,their writing thinking is solidified,and they cannot flexibly transform writing resources.According to the problems found and the reasons for finding strategies for high school students to accumulate and use writing materials,starting from the aspect of student consciousness,they can stimulate internal drive by creating personalized class activities and improving literary appreciation.Integrate curriculum resources,fully explore writing materials in teaching materials and reading teaching,and set up situational classrooms to deepen students’ understanding and use.Transform learning methods,keep pace with the times,use film and television resources to broaden the channels for accumulating writing materials,and find ways for students to save time,efficiently,and accept materials accumulation and application methods.
