| In 2019,as the Ministry of Education added Artificial Intelligence(AI)to the list of newly-approved undergraduate courses,more than 200 universities in China have set up the major of Artificial Intelligence,which has started the construction of a nationwide training system for AI undergraduate talents.However,the current AI teaching,especially the basic theory course,is confronting with such problems as rapid updates content,monotonous teaching method,and one-sided evaluation method.With the development of information technology,China clearly proposes to strengthen the construction of information-based education,to improve teacher’s application level of information technology,renew teaching philosophy,upgrade teaching methods and improve teaching effect.And in the domestic and foreign research,many scholars have also proposed the application of informationized teaching method in the Artificial Intelligence teaching.In view of the above situation,the author,integrating information technology with AI education deeply,analyzes and builds an teaching interactive platform for the course of Artificial Intelligence,to dig its educational value deeply.And then,the task-driven teaching method is integrated into the whole process of course design and teaching practice.By combining the old method with the new method,a highly complementary information-driven teaching mode which not only inherits the essence of the traditional education mode,but also exhibits innovation is formed.The main work of this research is as follows:Firstly,based on the existing literature and the course teaching practice,the paper analyzes the current research situation and existing problems of the undergraduate Artificial Intelligence course,and the relevant definitions and theoretical basis in the research are also clarified and determined.This paper probes into the information-driven teaching mode which is suitable for the undergraduate artificial intelligence course.Secondly,according to the analysis of the characteristics of the artificial intelligence course and the task-driven teaching method,this paper put forward the principles of selecting the teaching interactive platform which is suitable for the undergraduate Artificial Intelligence course,and choose the platform.According to the analysis of learning object,learning content and goal,design the teaching interactive platform,teaching activity and teaching effect evaluation.These works have helped to construct the teaching mode of undergraduate Artificial Intelligence course supported by teaching interactive platform.Thirdly,under the guidance of the established teaching model,the teaching practice is conducted with freshman majoring in Intelligent Science and Technology in a university in Chongqing as the object and Introduction to Intelligent Science and Technology as a practical course.Besides,a We Chat public platform named Intelligent Science Circle is also built to assist the teaching practice.And then,multiple evaluation methods such as questionnaire survey,educational observation,statistical analysis and interview are adopted to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching model.Lastly,according to the weakness in the practice research,optimization strategies are proposed.The author also summarize the advantages of the model and put forward the direction of following research in the hope that it can be used for reference in the design and development of AI courses,even at different stages of education or other similar courses.This study is also expected to promote the construction of Artificial Intelligence courses,the cultivation of intelligent talents and the development of information-based education. |
