| The key to the reform and development of basic education lies in teachers.At present,the research on teacher education is becoming more and more important.In recent years,with the continuous development of STEM education in China,the practice of STEM education in primary and secondary schools is going deeper and deeper.The implementation of STEM education poses a new challenge to the professional quality of science teachers.Training highly qualified and professional science teachers is the key to effective STEM education.Therefore,research on science teacher education from the perspective of STEM education has become a hot topic in the scientific education circle.Combing and analyzing the basic literature status,research hotspot and development direction of science teacher education research in the international perspective of STEM education have important reference value for promoting the reform and development of science teacher education and academic research in China.The study used the methods of literature,bibliometrics and other research methods,take the relevant literature of web of science database and CNKI database as the research object,and use Cite Space.5.6.r2 Software visual analysis,through the search of 2010-2019 ten years of STEM education in the field of vision of scientific teacher education research literature,get a visual analysis chart,from the data results to analyze the current research hotspot in this field and predict its development trend,in order to provide some reference for the future research of science teacher education in China.Through this study,the following conclusions are drawn:First,according to the annual analysis of the number of published articles,the number of published articles in the two databases is not high,but the trend is generally increasing year by year,which indicates that the research on science teacher education in the perspective of STEM education is being paid attention to.Among them,the annual publication amount of Web of Science database is slightly higher than that of CNKI database;Second,according to the analysis of the number of published articles,there are 4 core authors in CNKI database and 10 core authors in web of science database,which is slightly higher than that in China.From the author’s cooperation analysis chart,it can be seen that the cooperation degree of foreign countries is higher than that of domestic countries;Third,from the perspective of national publications,the United States is far ahead of other countries,with 59.76% of national publications in the United States,followed by 20.33% in China and 2.85% in the United Kingdom and Spain;Fourth,from the analysis of the amount of documents issued by institutions,domestic institutions mainly distribute teachers’ colleges,while foreign institutions mainly focus on comprehensive and research universities.Most of the institutions that publish more papers are American universities,and Purdue University in the United States has the most papers.The degree of close cooperation between domestic institutions is much lower than that between foreign institutions.The highest degree of foreign cooperation is the cooperation group centered on the University of Colorado;Fifthly,from the analysis of keyword co-occurrence,it can be seen that the number of foreign research keywords of science teacher education based on STEM education is far more than that of domestic research,and not only the keywords with high correlation,but also the emergence of specific disciplines such as physics,chemistry,biology,engineering,technology,etc.;the domestic high-frequency keywords are mainly concentrated in STEM teachers,science teachers,and primary science,which are relatively relevant High vocabulary;Sixth,From the perspective of research topics,foreign research topics are divided into four: pre-service science teachers and STEM education research;post-service science teachers and STEM education research;STEM teacher research;social support of science teachers from the perspective of STEM education.Domestic research topics can also be divided into three sections: pre-service science teachers and STEM education research;STEM teacher research;post-service science teachers and STEM education research;Seventh,this study draws the following enlightenment: in-depth research hotspots to promote the internationalization of China’s science teacher education research;strengthen the degree of research cooperation,more high-quality research results;strengthen STEM teaching,enhance the STEM education ability of pre-service science teachers;through STEM Teacher training promotes the development of science teachers. |
