With the development of science education,more and more attention is paid to the scientific education in primary school,the natural science of primary school is renamed the course of science,with increasing the content of Earth Space science and Engineering Science,the traditional teaching concepts and teaching methods can not meet the needs of teaching and learning between teachers and students.At the same time STEM education began to rise in foreign countries.STEM education is based on science,technology,engineering and mathematics interdisciplinary education and aims of promoting interoperability between disciplines in practice.The knowledge of STEM education and design of inquiry activities can not only make up for the lack of scientific knowledge,but also can satisfy the student's inquiry and creativity.This paper According to the current situation of science research and the analysis,This paper proposes problems that the science class teaching method is single,lacking of teaching quality,lacking of students,questioning spirit in class,the evaluation way of school science curriculum is single and so on.STEM education can be used to advantage integration in science classes to solve these problems.Through the analysis about the STEM of foreign classic education case,it is concluded how to design the general process of engineering project: determining the problem,developing a reasonable solution,analyzing solution,exchanging and communicating.The scientific teaching mode is designed based on STEM: tasks/projects,solution and evaluation/perfect,achievement,exchanges and cooperation.A science instructional design-"parachute" unit on the basis of this teaching mode,which is from the fifth grade science course.There are total 3 hours in teaching mode.The teaching goal is to enable students to learn in the process of making parachute,to cultivate students' autonomous inquiry,to team cooperation ability,to improve students' scientific literacy,and to guide students to establish the connection between knowledge and real life.Through practice it is found that the attitude of students who participate in thiskind of practical course is very positive.Students can make the parachute independently and actively share their problems and the solution in course.On the report each team member actively participates in,has the courage to performance speak clearly,grasps skilled basic concept.Students also wish for model building and scientific experiments in the late research.Finally,it is summarized that the application of STEM education in the science courses can not only change the teaching way,but also enrich the teaching contents of science curriculum.It is the most important that great challenge is taken from science teachers: fusion between disciplines represents that teachers need cooperate each other,establish corresponding teachers team.
