Poetry appreciation,as the key point of ancient poetry teaching and college entrance examination,plays an important role in poetry teaching in senior high school.The 2019 college entrance examination outline clearly puts forward the assessment requirements of "appreciation evaluation",including the analysis of image,language,expression skills,ideas and attitudes.However,there are still some problems in poetry appreciation class,such as the separation from the text,the lack of aesthetic,the template,and the lack of profound interpretation.At present,the "close reading method" used to solve these problems is still at the level of perception,which has some shortcomings,such as complex methods,unsystematic methods,lack of in-depth interpretation,and disconnection from poetry appreciation teaching.This paper investigates the current situation of ancient poetry teaching in senior high schools,with 30 teachers and 943 students from four senior high schools in Hunan Province as subjects.From the understanding,attitude,application,teaching focus,teaching content,teaching effect of "close reading method",the expectation of poetry appreciation class,poetry appreciation ability,current situation of extracurricular poetry reading,etc.,teachers and students questionnaire is designed.The results show that the students' ability of appreciation is low,they lack systematic methods of appreciation,the key points of close reading are not clear,and there is no system to cultivate the five abilities of poetry appreciation.In view of these problems,the author puts forward three strategies.The strategy of carefully reading the key points is designed to solve the problem of choosing the starting point of appreciation.In this paper,we apply the "close reading method" to five levels of poetry appreciation,and construct a systematic close reading and appreciation system.The operation method of "close reading of text" restores comparative poetry from multiple dimensions,and solves the problem in poetry appreciation.Writing teaching cases based on case analysis to improve the operability of "text reading method" in poetry appreciation teaching.This paper uses the theory of "close reading" of Professor Sun Shaozhen for reference,applies "close reading method" to the teaching of ancient poetry appreciation,conducts case study on the poetry in senior high school,and strives to build a practical teaching system of close reading,so that the teaching of poetryappreciation can be based on laws and rules.In order to solve the problems in poetry teaching and improve students' appreciation ability.
