With the development of social economy and the change of gender concept, the traditional family concept has gradually weakened the restraint of marriage relationship. While creating equality between men and women,it has also brought about an increase in the divorce rate. The divorce situation in China has grown from 4% in the 1979 s to about 40% today, and it is still increasing year by year. The family is an important place for the socialization of children. The divorce of the family naturally brings the destruction of the socialized environment of the children in the family, which brings about numerous difficulties and challenges for the social development of the teens in the family, and has extremely adverse effects on their healthy growth.Middle school students are an important process in life development. At this age, they not only have to survive the crisis of development of ego identity to chaotic roles. At the same time, under the pressure of China's college entrance examination system, they also need to cope with the important stages of life's learning and development in order to smoothly enter the next stage of learning and professional development. The divorce of parents in the family will undoubtedly make them worse and bring them more challenges.Whether they can successfully survive the multiple pressures of this stage to complete development determines the path and height of their future development. Therefore, the research on the resilience of middle school students in divorced families will help these groups to better adapt to the challenges brought by environmental threats and lay a solid foundation for their future development. In this paper,a questionnaire survey is used to investigate the resilience and psychosocial development of 244 divorced middle school students to understand the psychological distress and resilience of middle school students in divorced families. At the same time,in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 divorced families.Qualitative analysis to understand the influencing factors of their resilience, and then put forward the cultivation strategy of resilience. The study found that most of the middle school students in divorced families have good resistance, but compared with other students of the same age, they are slightly worse than ordinary middle school students, and the difference is significant. In the analysis of influencing factors on the resistance level of middle school students in divorced families,it was found that there was no significant gender difference in the resistance level of middle school students in divorced families, and mental health level and self-efficacy had predictive effects on the level of resistance. The higher the level of mental health and self-efficacy,the better the level of resilience. In the analysis of external factors,it was found that the support and protection of new families and restructured families also has a good supportive effect on the adversity adaptation of middle school students in divorced families. Therefore, social workers can improve the resilience of middle school students from divorced families through the cultivation of the ability to focus on goals, emotional control and positive cognition through group work;they can also strengthen their external support through social work to promote their adaptive development.
