As one of the four major literary genres,the novel is deeply loved by students and is highly artistic and thoughtful.Novel teaching plays an important role in cultivating students' literary accomplishment,improving their appreciation ability and deepening their understanding of society and life.However,there are still some problems in the actual high school novel classroom teaching.Therefore,the author uses literature research method,questionnaire method,interview method and case analysis method to do "high school novel classroom teaching situation and optimization strategy research".This paper consists of five parts: the first part mainly from the topic basis,research review,research methods,research value,innovation and other aspects of the basic situation of this paper.The second part is the first chapter of the thesis,which mainly summarizes the high school novel classroom teaching.It includes the connotation of high school novel classroom teaching,the basis of high school novel classroom teaching,the theory of high school novel teaching,and the significance of high school novel classroom teaching,so as to provide a basis for the following questions and optimization strategies.The third part is the second chapter of the thesis,which mainly investigates the current situation of high school novel teaching.Including the design of survey plan and the analysis of survey data.The survey plan mainly carries on the questionnaire to the student from the survey purpose,the object,the content,the method several aspects,carries on the interview to the teacher,collects the novel teaching case of the investigated school.In the following part,we continue to analyze the results of interviews with teachers,the data of student questionnaires and the data of teaching case surveys,so as to find out the problems and reasons in the teaching of high school novels in class.The fourth part is the third chapter of the thesis,which puts forward the existing problems and causes of the high school novel classroom teaching.First,the teaching goal is blurred;Second,the solidification of teaching content;Third,teaching methods are stylized.The causes of these problems are the influence of exam-oriented education under the college entrance examination,some teachers' teaching concepts need to be updated,and some teachers' professional quality needs to be improved.The fifth part is the fourth part of the thesis.This is also the focus of this paper,mainly discusses the high school novel classroom teaching optimization strategy.Targeted strategies of teaching objectives are to lay stress on the uniqueness of texts,to set teaching objectives,to set novel teaching objectives based on students,and to express novel teaching objectives clearly and clearly;the strategy of elaborating teaching contents is to classify novel teaching and to excavate the teaching contents of novel in the United States;the strategy of diversification of teaching methods is to integrate them.Body perception,situational teaching method,multiple interpretation method and combination of reading and writing method.By discussing the current situation of high school novel classroom teaching,this study proposes optimization strategies to improve the teaching of high school novel classroom and bring some help to frontline teachers.
