| The newly revised General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard proposes to make the course content contextualized,with the purpose of better promoting the implementation of the core qualities of the subject.Situational teaching is an excellent teaching method for quality education,promoting the overall development of students,and responding to the new curriculum standards.Situational teaching method has a long history,lasting in the changes of the times.Methods of literature analysis,experiment,questionnaire and interview were used,based on the characteristics of situational teaching method,the implementation principles and application strategies,as well as the relevant theoretical basis,the knowledge chapters in physical geography,human geography and regional geography are selected to design specific teaching cases,introduced in high school geography teaching how to create a situation for teaching,how to achieve the curriculum requirements in situational teaching and how to better promote the implementation of the core literacy of geography.And carry on the experiment to the practice school,probe into the influence of using the situation teaching method in the geography teaching of high school to students’ development in all aspects,carry on interview to the geography teacher,probe into the deficiency and obstacle in the course of using the situation teaching method,the main research results that draw are as follows:1.By comparing the results of pre-test and post-test,it is found that the students in the experimental class who use situational teaching method have higher academic performance.2.After a questionnaire survey,it was found that the majority of the students in the experimental class accepted the teaching methods adopted by the teachers.3.The interest of the students in the experimental class in learning geography has been greatly improved.4.The students in the experimental class have stronger abilities of autonomous learning and cooperative learning than those in the reference class.5.The students in the experimental class are more willing to spend more time learning geography knowledge in their spare time than those in the reference class,and most of the students spend more time concentrating in class than those in the reference class.6.Most of the students in the experimental class think that geography knowledge is closely related to life,and can use knowledge to solve problems in life.7.After interviewing teachers,it is concluded that most teachers tend to use the situational teaching method and support the situational teaching method,but there are problems such as high school hours,heavy teacher teaching tasks,and time-consuming and laborious to find a suitable teaching situation.Finally,in view of the situational teaching method in high school geography teaching process encountered obstacles to make recommendations,hope to be able to situational teaching method in high school geography teaching in the smooth development of help. |
