A Social Work Intervention Study On Family Resilience Of Children With Leukemia

Leukemia is a blood disease.In recent years,the incidence of leukemia has been increasing year by year,especially among young children.The number of children suffering from leukemia has only increased,the sudden illness not only brings the huge economic pressure to the family,but also causes the serious burden to the.family member’s psychology.This study used the R hospital ward school in Shaanxi Province as the investigation point,and used the scale to evaluate the resilience of 20 children’s families in three dimensions:Responsibility,control and challenge,parents with low level of resilience and willingness were selected as the main target of this study.In this study,we adopted a combined intervention strategy with the main caregiver and the subsidiary of the patient,which broke the limitation of the single service object,based on the theory of family resilience and the biological-psychological-medical model,we provide more targeted and comprehensive services for children and their primary caregivers.On the premise of in-depth understanding of the basic situation of the family with the case and detailed analysis of the challenges and difficulties faced by the family,the intervention method of "case service+group activity" is used to provide "one-to-one"social work services for the families with children with the case,to help them improve and even rebuild their resilience.After in-depth discussion and analysis,the main problems of the family were focused on:The sudden illness of the child had a strong impact on the main caregivers of the child,which not only had an impact on their own psychological state,it also leads to the maladjustment of family function and the disorder of family structure,which weakens the family resistance to adversity.Based on this,the research focus of this paper is to apply the abstract contents from the three levels of family belief system,family organization model and family communication process involved in the theoretical framework of family resilience to the concrete actions of providing services for the families with cases flexibly,three levels,three-pronged approach,directly or indirectly from different angles to improve the main caregiver’s emotional state,family structure and family communication patterns,while in the specific intervention process,the Professional Social Work Service of higher quality and better effect will be provided to the families with the case in the form of parents’ meeting,social association,going out activities,etc..The results of the assessment show that the level of resilience of the families in charge of the case has been significantly improved,and social work services have achieved certain results,in this process,the author also gradually explored the scientific,rational and effective application of the family resilience theory to provide services for the families of the case owners,which not only needs to improve their own initiative,a deeper understanding and recognition of the family resilience theory is needed to make the internalization process more Operability.
