The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward that"Lide Shuren" is the fundamental task of educational work.Teachers are the practitioners of educational reform.Therefore,improving the professional quality of geography teachers is an inevitable requirement to realize the goal of educational reform.Based on this,with the help of the core concept of "curriculum making" in the"Geocapabilities" project and the combination of cooperative action research,this paper provides a feasible way for the professional development of geography teachers in China by carrying out cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making.This paper use action research method,literature research method,interview method and participatory observation method to construct a model of cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making.The current situation of geography teachers' curriculum making was investigated and problems were found.Through describing and analyzing the process of "practice-reflection-re-practice-re-reflection" in the cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making,this paper reveals the influence and function of the cooperative action research of geographical curriculum making on the professional development of geography teachers.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)This paper uses the literature research method to constructs a model of cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making.The model includes the following segments:the overall assumption,problem finding,plan making,implementation action and research summary.The key phase of the "implementation action" is divided into three phases:the first phase is the collaborative action team's creation of geographical curriculum artefacts;the second phase is the collaborative teachers' application of geographical curriculum artefacts teaching;and the third phase is the collaborative action team's reflection and revision of geographical curriculum artefacts teaching.The cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making is a spiral and ascending cycle of "practice-reflection-re-practice-re-reflection".(2)This paper uses the interview method to investigate the current situation of geography teachers' curriculum making in the cooperative action research field.It is found that geography teachers have some problems in curriculum making,such as limited sources of teaching themes,insufficient development of geographical curriculum resources,lack of situation creation in the teaching application of geographical curriculum artefacts,and teachers' reflection on geographical curriculum artefacts and their teaching application is difficult to break through the limitations of self-awareness.(3)Researcher carried out cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making.The cooperative action team selected the relevant text content of "industrial location" in chapter 3,section 2 of the current compulsory textbook for Chinese plates for geographical curriculum making.First of all,in the stage of creating geographical curriculum artefacts,the cooperative action team collectively created geographical curriculum artefacts with "world factory-dongguan" as the teaching theme.Secondly,in the teaching stage of applied geographical curriculum artefacts,cooperative teachers use geographical curriculum artefacts to create interactive and participatory classroom with themes as clues,problem chains as links,autonomous learning and cooperative inquiry in learning situations,so as to cultivate students' core geography literacy.Thirdly,in the teaching stage of reviewing and revising geographical curriculum artefacts,the cooperative action group revised geographical curriculum artefacts and their teaching application through individual reflection,collective discussion and one-man writing.In these three stages,cooperative teachers go through continuous "practice-reflectionre-practice-re-reflection" to form a cycle.(4)Through cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making,this paper summarizes the development of geography teachers in reflective practical ability,teaching ability of geography core literacy and educational research ability,and reveals that cooperative action research on geographical curriculum making is a feasible way for geography teachers' professional development.
