The key competences in the geography curriculum standard by newly revised becomes the most core education value.The literacy education requires students to pay attention to the society and life instead of studying in the classroom,get the experience and knowledge in the real situation,and obtain the geographical character and key ability to adapt to the social development.School-based curriculum is most closely related to students' living environment among the national curriculum,local curriculum and school-based curriculum.The teaching method of school-based curriculum is flexible,which is an important way to cultivate the geographical core literacy of students.Therefore,in order to culture the geographical key competences of students and promote the popularization of local geographical knowledge,we study on the development of school-based curriculum resources of local geography and the way of cultivating students' geographical key competences,takeing Cangxian,Hebei Province as an exampleFirstly,through the questionnaire,we know about the situation of the high school in Cangxian,and discuss the necessity of culturing the geographical key competences of students in Cangxian.Then,aiming at the cultivation of the key competences of geography,put forward the principles and methods of the school-based curriculum resources developmen of Geography in Cangxian.The development of school-based curriculum resources in Cangxian should follow the principles of geographical science,highlighting regional characteristics and infiltrating key competences.Besides,the methods of improve the teaching design with local characteristics,pay attention to the experience of students and innovate the course evaluation methods.Then,according to the requirements of the curriculum standard sorts out the geographical school-based curriculum resources that can be developed in Cangzhou,and forms a systematic school-based geography curriculum resource database.Finally,taking the chenier,Cangzhou wushu and golden silk jujube industry as examples to complete the teaching design.The study enriches the school-based geography-curriculum resources of Cangxian,promotes the development of the school-based geography-curriculumof Cangxian,and explores a new way to culture the geographical key competences of students for Cangxian.However,there are still many deficiencies need to be improved in the research.
