With the increased number of dual-career families, the severe form of employment and the high demand of both work and family, the study of work-family relationship has attracted more and more attention. The work-family conflict(WFC)faced by young knowledge workers in their 30s has become a source of life pressure. It is worth studying what kind of WFC they are facing and what coping strategies they could use to reduce the impact of WFC or conflict. This study focused on the status quo and coping strategies of WFC among young knowledge workers.Through in-depth interviews with 21 young knowledge workers, getting 130,000 text materials,Based on the analysis of the data with grounded theory, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)status quo of work-family conflict:Firstly, young knowledge workers are generally facing WFC,and family-work conflict(WIF)is even more severe than family-work conflict(FIW).Time-based conflicts are most.Second, the arrival of children leads to a surge in WFC,entering the outbreak period.Third, the common 10 WFC incidents are child health, accompanying children, family health, family affairs, over time, heavy workload&work stress, work emergencies, special time work, workplace relationships, lack of supervisor support.Fourth,WFC has a negative effect,in which emotions play an essential role, whether the WIF or FIW,the first cause is the change of the mood,if the mood can not get catharsis, will accentuate the next series of conflicts.(2)work family coping strategies:First, there are four types of coping strategies for young knowledge workers:role resource support, role demand reduction,self-rule management, and self-resource depletion.Second, the static theoretical dimensional model of coping strategies:according to the 2*2 theoretical dimensional model formed by the intersection of"internal and external" and "positive and negative" dimensions, explaining more clearly and concisely.Third, the principles of the use of coping strategies:the one-sided principle, the principle of easy access, the principle of negotiating with essential others.Fourth, the dynamic selection model of coping strategies:the changing condition is the resources and demand in the work and family fields, and the changing relationship is the response strategy that gives priority to the definite increase of resources and then the negative decrease of demand.
