《The outline of national medium and long term education reform and development plan(2010-2020)》proposes to establish the relevant system of student development guidance,promote the independent development and positive growth of each student,and finally realize self-worth.In 2014,a new round of examination and enrollment system reform was launched in an all-round way,and a new round of college entrance examination reform was started in batches in all provinces and cities across the country.In the new college entrance examination mode of "three out of seven" and"three out of six",the right of students to choose subjects,courses and majors has been extended,and the right of schools to choose students has also been extended.This requires that students should consider the college and major they want to enter when choosing the subjects for examination.Therefore,in the context of the new college entrance examination,it is necessary for teachers to guide students’ career development.Geography is a subject with both nature and humanity,which is comprehensive and practical.It has obvious advantages to guide students’ career development in high school geography teaching.Firstly,this paper describes the research background,research status at home and abroad,research purpose and significance,research content and research methods.Secondly,it defines the concepts of career,career development guidance of high school geography teaching,and analyzes the theoretical basis of this paper.Thirdly,it analyzes the necessity of career development guidance in high school geography teaching,and fully understands the cognitive status of high school students’ career planning through questionnaire survey.At last,it puts forward the specific strategies of career development guidance for students in high school geography teaching,and designs the specific cases of career development guidance for geography discipline.The following conclusions are drawn:1.Through the literature analysis of the theoretical basis,this paper summarizes the shortcomings of the original college entrance examination program and the problems encountered in the pilot provinces of the new college entrance examination reform.The original college entrance examination plan did not solve the problem of students’overburdened schoolwork,and there were shortcomings’ of "only score theory" and "one test for life".To some extent,the independent selection mode of colleges and universities undermined the fairness of education.In the pilot provinces of the new college entrance examination reform,there are many problems,such as how to score the subjects,how to match the resources in the process of reform,how to burden the students and how to make the examination more utilitarian.2.This paper analyzes the necessity of career development guidance in high school geography teaching.Through career development guidance for students,students can no longer"blind selection","utilitarian selection",which is conducive to the cultivation of students’geographical core literacy,the formation of good learning quality,the transition from high school education to higher education,and the selection of outstanding talents through the college entrance examination evaluation system.3.By randomly selecting eight classes to send out questionnaires to the senior one students of a general high school,this paper understands the degree of self-awareness of students,the cognitive situation of career planning and the needs of career development guidance,and summarizes the cognitive situation of career planning of senior high school students.4.This paper puts forward the specific strategies of career development guidance in high school geography teaching,including three guiding strategies of curriculum resource utilization,geography practice and teaching evaluation.In the process of geography teaching,we can make full use of the teaching materials about career development guidance in geography teaching materials,and use local materials to prepare school-based courses and other curriculum resources to guide students’career development,improve students’ awareness of career planning,and design specific teaching cases.The strategy of geography practice activities mainly uses in many forms of practice activities such as geography experiment,social investigation,research and study investigation to guide students’ career development.In the "true"knowledge and "true" feeling,let students fully feel the professional charm and guide students to establish their life goals.Adding career development guidance to teaching evaluation can not only help teachers grasp the learning effect and career interest direction of middle school students in the process of teaching activities accurately and serve teaching decision-making,but also help students understand themselves comprehensively and parents understand children’ s growth process more comprehensively.
