Heroes are the eternal spiritual coordinates of a country and a nation on the road of development.The Chinese nation has always been a great nation that advocates heroes and produces heroes in large numbers.Thousands of heroic Chinese people constantly write the history of the development of the Chinese nation.In the new era of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way and winning the great victory of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the importance of heroes and heroes is self-evident.How to give full play to the great role of heroes and heroic spirit is a major theoretical and practical problem facing the party and the country.Since the eighteen Party’s Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has published a series of discussions on heroes in many important occasions and speeches,which fully demonstrates his deep feelings and great importance to heroes.General Secretary Xi Jinping,based on China’s great social practice and China’s new socialist era,has formed a scientific,systematic and China’s heroic view.To study Xi Jinping’s heroism,we first made a multidimensional analysis of Xi Jinping’s heroes.Starting from the core concept,this paper discusses the meaning and essence of "hero" and "hero view".Xi Jinping’s ideal and belief education view of youth has a clear and complete generative mechanism.The theoretical origin of his theory is the succession of Marx’s classical writers’ views on heroes and the successive discussions of the leaders of the Communist Party of China on China’s heroes.It is necessary for the country to carry out ideological infiltration and erroneous social thoughts to erode the heroic culture and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The subjective condition is that Xi Jinping’s general secretary has formed profound heroic feelings under the influence of family influence and political experience.Xi Jinping’s heroism constitutes a systematic and complete theoretical system,which consists of four parts.First,it reveals the nature of heroes.Xi Jinping adheres to historical materialism,expounds the dialectical relationship between the current situation and the hero,and resolutely oppose the nihility of the hero from the perspective of Marx’s definition of human nature.Secondly,it clarifies the origin of heroes.Xi Jinping adhered to the basic standpoint of the view of the masses,insisted that the people were the real heroes,and the heroes must be rooted in the masses.Thirdly,we should restate the important value of heroes.The three levels of Xi Jinping’s major countries,times and individuals point out that heroes are the most brilliant coordinates of the nation.Heroes are the leading spirit of the times,and heroes are examples of everyone’s sense of responsibility.Fourth,the practical principle of dealing with heroes.In the new era,the whole party,the whole army and the people of all ethnic groups in China must respect,defend,care for and learn from heroes.Xi Jinping’s heroic view has very distinct characteristics,including the unity of ideology and problem orientation,unity of party spirit and people’s nature,unity of nationality and world.Xi Jinping’s heroism must be put into practice in the new era.In the new era,Xi Jinping should follow the following path.First,we should strengthen the ideological construction from the following three aspects: adhering to the leading position of Marxism,preventing wrong social thoughts,and practicing the socialist core values.Second,we should vigorously develop the hero culture in China from the following three aspects:adhering to Marxist methodology,strengthening the creation of literary and artistic works,and paying attention to the memory of heroes and martyrs.Third,we should improve the work security of heroes from the following four aspects: improving laws and regulations,establishing the mechanism of praising heroes,improving publicity work,and improving hero education.Fourth,we should encourage everyone to be a hero from the two aspects of Party members,cadres and the masses.Xi Jinping’s heroism has double values of theory and practice.The theoretical value of Xi Jinping’s ideal and belief education concept is mainly embodied in enriching and developing Marx’s heroism and Mao Zedong’s heroism,and enriching and developing China’s socialist theory system with Chinese characteristics.The practical value is mainly reflected in the view of Xi Jinping’s hero,which is conducive to our strict ideological position,and helps to strengthen the self-confidence of China’s socialist culture,and points out the direction for the work of protecting heroes and caring heroes in the new era.
