This article systematically sorts out and researches Chinese apologies in second language teaching from three aspects: the distribution of apologies in Chinese textbooks,the acquisition of Chinese apologies by South Korean students and the acquisition strategies.Details are as follows:The first part selects the speaking and comprehensive series of textbooks of "Developing Chinese" as a foreign language textbook.The Chinese apologies are comprehensively counted from five perspectives: the positions of the apologies in the textbooks,the types and frequency of the apologies,the verbal strategies of the apologies,the ways of responding to the apologies,and the contexts of the apologies in order to understand the distribution of Chinese apologies in the textbooks and prepare for the design of the questionnaire.The second part is to design a corresponding questionnaire based on the use of apology words in the textbooks to investigate South Korean students.According to the results of the survey,the characteristics of South Korean students' use of Chinese apologies are obtained through comparative analysis.With the help of cultural scale theory and the theory of values in cross-cultural communication,the reasons for its use characteristics are explained from three perspectives: value concept,national character and ways of thinking.It also summarizes the errors in the process of South Korean students' use of Chinese apologies:South Korean students do not grasp the rational meaning of different apology words properly,and lack address and cultural sensitivity in the process of using them.The third part proposes strategies for the acquisition of Chinese apologies from the three perspectives of textbooks,acquisition and teaching based on the use of Chinese apology words by South Korean students and the occurrence of errors.It is pointed out that textbooks should make full use of texts and exercises,set some representative contexts,display apologies from multiple angles.And students should establish a sense of cultural differences,actively participate in the Chinese environment,and acquire more authentic and culturally connotative Chinese apologies.Based on previous research results,the article combines textbooks and acquisition,uses the apologies in the textbooks to investigate and analyze the acquisition of Chinese apologies,and conducts a holistic and systematic research on Chinese apologies.It not only enriches the research content of Chinese apologies in second language acquisition,but also broadens the research path of Chinese as a foreign language textbooks and second language acquisition;it not only reveals the characteristics of South Korean students' acquisition of Chinese apologies,but also uses relevant cultural theories to analyze the reasons,and at the same time provides corresponding strategies for second language teaching.There are still some shortcomings in the thesis: one is that the survey sample is small and the number of subjects is limited;the second is that the error analysis is not thorough enough;the third is that it fails to conduct relevant investigation and analysis of the apology response.
