The Development Of Wang Chong's Small Script Style Has Influenced My Creation

In the middle of the Ming Dynasty,most of the famous calligraphers gathered in Suzhou,Wen Zhengming and Zhu Yunming being the two most famous,and their calligraphy attainments reached their peak.The Ming Dynasty critic Wang Shizhen called Suzhou’s calligraphy the best in the world.Wen Zhengming and Zhu Yunming were the strongest,and Wang Chong ranked second.As one of the four most powerful calligraphers at that time,Wang Chong’s position is very important.Taking Wang Chong as the research object,this paper focuses on the development and change of his writing style in regular script in small characters.It mainly studies from two aspects.The first aspect is to study the development and changes of his regular script in small characters style in different periods.In this chapter,it mainly divides into four periods,classifies and compares the works of each period,and finds out the development direction of Wang Pong regular script in small characters style.The second aspect mainly studies the reasons for the development and change of Wang Chong’s style of regular script in small characters,which is also discussed in two sections.The reasons for the change of style of writing are analyzed by connecting with the objects of Wang Chong’s acquisition.Finally,combining with the rough life of Wang Chong,the author briefly speculates his creative state of mind in different periods.Wang Chong’s regular script in small characters style rather than the ancient style,which has a unique aesthetic value.The variation of Wang Chong’s regular script in small characters style contains his insistence and pursuit of artistic innovation,which has a great influence on me.Therefore,the last chapter of this paper mainly discusses the influence of the development of Wang Chong’s calligraphy style on my calligraphy creation.
