Chinese literature from 1949 to 1979 has always had distinct political characteristics in the field of study in academic circles,but this does not mean all of its attributes——this period of literature is not only a bridge between modern literature and the literature of the 1980 s,but also has a complex connection with "May 4th" literature,liberated area literature and even revolutionary literature and other literary forms.As an important part of Chinese literature,Jiangsu literature in this period showed the echo with the overall appearance of the national literature.Naturally,there was also a side of contradiction and deviation with the national literature.If we want to study the Chinese literature in this period,Jiangsu literature can not be separated.This paper will macroscopically observe the overall appearance of its generation and development from the perspective of literary ideas,theoretical criticism and other literary trends of thought in Jiangsu during this period,supplemented by a micro investigation of the specific works of literary theory and criticism in Jiangsu during this period,so as to restore the overall form of Jiangsu literature from 1949 to 1979,and give a more comprehensive and objective analysis of its cultural value pedigree Criticism and revaluation.As an important part of Chinese literature,Jiangsu literature has shown its own characteristics in terms of literary theory,literary aesthetic criticism and literary creation practice An "atypical" literary trend of thought is gradually forming.From the perspective of regional culture,this paper analyzes the common characteristics of Jiangsu writers and other writers.From 1949 to 1979,Jiangsu writers responded positively to the mainstream discourse and retreated to return to the literary garden,which respectively showed the pioneer and breakthrough in Jiangsu literary theory and the calm and restraint in literary criticism.The vanguard and retreat made the theoretical criticism form of Jiangsu literature in this period form a certain internal common connection with Jiangsu literature in other periods.What it contains is the rich nourishment brought by Jiangsu regional culture and spirit.This kind of rich nourishment is just the unique reserve that Jiangsu literature can be independent from the national literature,which makes it become a unique existence that can not be ignored in Chinese literature.
