Research On Emperor Saga's Chinese Poetry

Emperor Saga is a famous politician and writer of Han Dynasty in Heian period of Japan.He has made outstanding achievements in Chinese poetry creation.Emperor Saga was born in the early days of Ping An,learning Chinese poetry and prose at an early age.During his reign,the politics were clear and the culture was prosperous.In his later years,he took the initiative to Zen and express his feelings about mountains and rivers.He vigorously advocated the creation of Chinese poetry and prose,which was not only to follow the tradition of sending Tang Dynasty and court poetry banquet,but also to accept the Confucian political idea and literary view of "Article governs the country",but also to meet the political needs arising from the integration of gods and Buddhism and the peaceful relocation of the capital.In terms of subject matter,the Chinese poems of the Emperor of Saga can be divided into four categories: scenery and object poems,poems expressing ideas and feelings,Buddhist poems and epic poems nostalgic for the past.Among them,the proportion of painting scenery and chanting object poetry is the largest,which expresses the love of nature with rich and diverse scenery.The poetry of expressing thoughts and thoughts has not only his longing for the ideal society of folk music,but also his longing for the secluded life.Sanskrit poetry mainly expresses the understanding and feeling of Buddhism and life;It is the study and imitation of the same type of poetry in China.The artistic features of Emperor Saga’s Chinese poetry are mainly manifested in four aspects: tempered words,flexible use of allusions,preference for natural images and aesthetic taste of "mono-no-aware" and "leisurely quietness".The formation of these artistic features is not only influenced by Chinese poetry,but also imbued with the inherent traditional Japanese literary aesthetics.As a pioneer of Japanese Chinese poetry,Emperor Saga’s exploration of subject matter,content and style has exerted a profound influence on later Japanese poetry.
