Tranquil Atmosphere - A Study Of The Painting Language Of Lopez's Figurative Writing Period

Antonio Lopez Garcia is an important figurative painter in the 20th century Europe.He is in the era of conflicting western modern art and traditional art,but he still sticks to the traditional realistic painting style.Lopez’s painting career is divided into three different style periods.This paper focuses on the study of his paintings in the figurative and realistic period,because the works of this period are rich in a special quiet atmosphere,which makes the author difficult to forget and touch my heart.This paper is divided into three chapters to analyze the painting language of Lopez’s figurative and realistic period,and thus explore the formation factors of the quiet atmosphere in Lopez’s works as the theoretical basis for creative practice.The first chapter of this article explains the author’s understanding of quiet,summarizes the time background of 20th century Spain and Lopez painting career,the second chapter analyzes the composition of Lopez,light expression,color application and techniques of painting,and the last chapter mainly expounds their creative practice process,combining the painting language explored in this paper into their works.
