| The Sutra of Mount Tai can be called "the originator of big characters" and "the master of the list book".It is hidden in the huge cliffs of Mount Tai.It has been preserved from the "550-577 years" of Northern Qi Dynasty.Through thousands of years,it has transformed the majestic calligraphy and devout Buddhist Scriptures into a unique calligraphy art,which has resulted in the understanding of "reverence for nature" and the comprehensiveness of "Paul’s myriad phenomena".Its superior Han Li: wide and flat,Li meaning prominent;Kai Kai regular script;restrained and solemn.Mrs.Kang,Mrs.Yang and Mrs.Bao,the famous calligraphers in Qing Dynasty,all praised it.Mrs.Zhao,a calligrapher,brought the Wei style calligraphy style to Hong Kong such as the Diamond Sutra of Mount Tai,which made Wei style signboards all over the streets of Hong Kong and became the visual cultural characteristics.Based on the perspective of font design,this paper makes a deep analysis of the Diamond Sutra of Mount Tai from the perspective of font design.Firstly,it clarifies the historical and cultural background of Mount Tai Sutra,uncovers the mysterious veil of its author,and explores its creation process;secondly,it analyzes the form and content of the Diamond Sutra,including the stone carving production technology,pen characteristics and font structure;finally,through the Through on-the-spot investigation,we can feel the era appearance and spiritual temperament of Mount Tai Sutra,and explore the design of Chinese characters inspired by Mount Tai Sutra.The purpose of the study is: to deeply understand the religious value,cultural contribution and artistic sublimation of Chinese traditional calligraphy characters through the perspective and means of font design,and interpret it with modern means,so as to open up a richer perception dimension of Chinese culture and create a broader meaning space for font design. |
