Research On The Problems And Countermeasures In The Protection Of Revolutionary Sites In Shapingba District, Chongqing

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Chairman Xi Jinping has been deep into the old revolutionary base areas and the revolutionary holy land for investigation and research for several times.Moreover,Chairman Xi has stressed many times that we should make good use of red resources,carry forward the red tradition,and pass on the red gene inheritance well.Revolutionary Historical Relics are the material carrier of revolutionary historical culture,which includes the glorious course of the Chinese Communists and the Chinese people's heroic struggle for national independence and people's liberation.They are very important part of Chinese material cultural heritage and non-material cultural heritage.Therefore,as for the nationwide study of the history of the Communist Party of China at present,it is also of great significance to protect and use the Revolutionary Sites.This study starts with the current situation of the revolutionary sites in Shapingba District.With the help of the questionnaire,interview and case analysis,in this research the relevant data is analyzed,and the problems existing in the protection of the revolutionary sites in Shapingba District are worked out.They are the overall insufficient protection,the shortage of integration of heritage resources,the failure of meeting the needs of public culture,and the lack of financial support.The reasons for the problems in the protection of revolutionary sites in Shapingba District are as follows: first,the awareness of the protection of revolutionary sites is weak,and the awareness is not deep enough,and there are no laws and regulations specifically for the protection of the revolutionary sites;second,the main body of the protection of the revolutionary sites is not clear,and the multi management makes the rights and responsibilities unclear;third,the protection of revolutionary sites lacks enthusiasm and creativity;fourth,there is a lack of stable,diverse and comprehensive investment in the protection of revolutionary sites.Concerning the problems existing in the protection of revolutionary sites in Shapingba District,according to the public management theories of public products,new public services and large site protection,and learning from the advanced experience of Yuzhong District and Jiulongpo District,the following solutions are put forward to improve the situation of the protection of revolutionary sites in Shapingba District.First,it will be a good way to strengthen publicity and education on the protection of revolutionary sites and promote the construction of local laws and regulations on the protection of revolutionary sites.Second,to strengthen the organization and leadership of the protection of revolutionary sites and the coordination and communication of relevant departments is also an efficient way to promote the protection of revolutionary “great sites”.Third,it necessary to provide better public cultural services by further opening revolutionary sites,promoting the construction of revolutionary memorial venues,and creating red cultural products.Fourth,there is significance to actively broaden the sources of funds to protect and develop the revolutionary sites and red tourism industry widely.
