A Study On The Current Situation Of The Spread Of Chinese Cultural Symbols Among Thai College Students

It has been 45 years since China and Thailand established diplomatic relations,and the two countries have maintained friendly relations for a long time.As China continues to promote the “The Belt and Road” initiative and actively build a community with a shared future for mankind,the cooperation and exchanges between China and Thailand in education and culture have reached a new level.Chinese culture has received more and more attention in Thailand,and Chinese teaching in Thailand has gradually formed a specific system and matured day by day.In order to know more about the situation of the spread of Chinese culture among college students in Thailand,and to propose communication strategies for existing problems,this research takes Sisaket Rajabhat University in northeastern Thailand as an example,and chooses Spring Festival cultural symbols from the Chinese cultural symbol system as dissemination content,investigates and analyzes the dissemination status of Chinese New Year cultural symbols at Sisaket Rajabhat University in Thailand,and proposes corresponding solutions to the problems encountered in the dissemination process.This study collects and analyzes data from questionnaire and interview methods.The results show that the dissemination of Chinese New Year cultural symbols in Sisaket Rajabhat University in Thailand needs to be improved,whether it is the disseminator,the dissemination content or the dissemination channel.The teaching of Chinese language in Thailand has made obvious achievements,but the spread of Chinese culture in Thailand still has a long way to go.It is hoped that this study can provide some references for future research on cultural symbol communication.we also hope that the communication strategies and suggestions of Chinese New Year cultural symbols proposed in this study can play a certain role and enhance the communication effect.
