The Government Of The Republic Of China Explores The Governance Of The Chieftains In Guizhou

For a long time,scholars have done a lot of research on the problem of Chieftain in Yunnan,Gansu and Kham during the Republic of China.I have consulted newspapers,archives,local records,official and private writings of the Republic of China period and found that many of the Great Chieftain originally set up in Guizhou were abolished after the Ming and Qing dynasties carried out large-scale land reform and repatriation.However,in order to consolidate the rule of this region,the central government,many small and medium-sized toast still survive.After entering the Republic of China,there are still many Chieftains in Guizhou.In order to maintain local stability,the central government and the Guizhou provincial government have taken measures to reform the remaining Chieftains and reappoint them,as well as to maintain social stability in ethnic areas,even the construction of the great rear areas of the anti-japanese war played a important role.To further explore this topic area,this article will be discussed in the following six parts:Introduction.This paper introduces the reasons and significance of this study,and systematizes the historical documents and related academic research achievements of the Chieftain of Guizhou in the period of the Republic of China,in order to provide historical reference for the study of this paper.The first chapter.This paper summarizes the historical reasons for the existence of the Chieftain in Guizhou Province during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China,and the basic situation of the remaining Chieftain.The second chapter.the Government of the Republic of China to the Chieftain Governance,mainly from the government of the Republic of China to the Chieftain Reform,re-appointment,retention of the Chieftain and Chieftain Education initiatives etc.this paper probes into the causes,process and results of the governments administration of the remaining Chieftain of Guizhou in the Republic of China,and points out that such administrative measures promoted the democratic process of Guizhou to a certain extent,and promoted the stable development of the local society.The third chapter.The influence of the government of the Republic of China on the governance of the chieftain of Guizhou,starting from the corresponding measures taken by the Republican government against different regions and different types of Chieftain in Guizhou(enlightened Chieftain and stubborn Chieftain),considering that the government of the Republic of China had a far-reaching influence on the governance of Chieftain in Guizhou,and the positive influence was mainly manifested in maintaining the stable development of society,promoting local construction and progress,and enhancing the national identity of ethnic minorities,the negative aspects are mainly reflected in the class nature of the Republic of China government,unable to achieve equality among all ethnic groups,there is still ethnic discrimination.Conclusion and discussion.This paper reviews the measures and main contents of the administration of the government of the Republic of China to the Chieftain of Guizhou,and points out that the study of the administration history of the government of the Republic of China to the Chieftain of Guizhou and the experiences and lessons learned in the process can deepen and enrich the research connotation of the Chieftain Studies.
