Su Shi's Illness And Creation In His Later Years

No one can escape from disease in his life.Sushi always suffered from disease in his later years.His disease deeply hurt him and influence his living and writing.Disease is a challenge to his later years.It also called his realization of lives.This thesis is to research Sushi’s later years,including his state of illness,living,writing,and thought.Sushi’s later years is during the period from October 2^nd,1094 to July 17^th,1101.Firstly,this thesis research Sushi’s state of illness in his later years.It is discovered that Sushi suffered from much illness.Secondly,this thesis prints a scene of Sushi’s living in his later years.This scene has three parts:His living in Huizhou、His living in Danzhou and His return from south.Actually,his disease influences his writing in many ways:the quantity,the length,the content and the theme of his article.There are four artistic features of his article:owning a specific imagery which is in sick,using writing technique of analogy and contrast very well,having a free and strong sprit core and sincere emotion.Finally,this thesis research the way how Sushi gets rid of his illness and miserable circumstance.
