A Multi-angle Study Of The Age Class "X Disease / Disease / Cancer"

This article takes "The Princess disease","the early age syndrome","straight man cancer" this kind of age disease "X disease/syndrome/cancer" as the research object.This paper makes a systematic study of these new words from the perspectives of three plane theories and cognitive linguistics.And based on the network data to pay attention to its practical use,analysis of the use of advantages and existing problems.Firstly,this paper analyzes the internal structure and syntactic function of "X disease/syndrome/cancer" on the basis of corpus selection and statistics,and points out that some words can be modified by degree adverbs to make predicates in sentences.Secondly,from the involved objects and use occasion two aspects of semantic classification,and the "X disease/syndrome/cancer" of the semantics of comparative analysis,to find out the similarities and differences between the three.Then,on the pragmatic level,we describe the language environment and subjective negative evaluation meaning in detail,and pay attention to the difference of the derogatory degree of different words in the emotional color,analyzes the two sides of the use of "X disease/ syndrome /cancer".Lastly,on the basis of prototype category and labor-saving principle,this paper sums up the reasons of word formation,semantic evolution mechanism,popularity and development.
