A Study Of English Translation Of Martial Arts Terms From The Perspective Of Eco-translatology

After my country has entered a new era of reform and opening up,its economic strength with the tremendous enhancement,the status of the world has risen significantly,but correspondingly,my country has a relatively weak influence on the mainstream culture of the world,and the status of a cultural power needs to be improved urgently.In this context,my country vigorously promotes the policy of "cultural outreach" and tells Chinese stories well with Chinese voices.In this process,martial arts stand out because of its characteristics and plays an important role in international communication and cross-cultural communication.In this process,martial arts terms are rich in connotation and information,and the English translation often lacks directly corresponding expressions,which affects the validity and breadth of the external communication of martial arts.This article uses martial arts terminology as the research object,combined with Eco-translatology theory to collect and study the problems in the English translation of martial arts terms in the online translation platform "Wuxiaworld",and propose countermeasures to promote Chinese culture to go out,so that foreign people can understand and accept Chinese cultureIn the first section of this article,it mainly outlines the basis and significance of the topic,and then introduces the martial arts terminology in the "Wuxiaworld" website,the research object of this article.The research ideas are through the method of literature data,questionnaire,case analysis,etc.By making good use of the existing art terminology texts and combining with the concepts of 'Translational Eco-Environment," Translator-Centeredness ",and "Reader feedback" in the Eco-Translatology,this paper analyzes the existing problems and deficiencies in the translation of martial arts term,so as to provide practical and effective translation strategies for the translator's subjectivity;the first part of the second section of the literature review explains the concept and theoretical framework of Eco-Translatology;the second part discusses the concept,development status,advantages and disadvantages of martial arts term translation;The third part briefly introduces the establishment,operation mode and development prospects of the 'Wuxiaworld'website,and reviews the results of the English translation of Wu Xia before the'Wuxiaworld';the fourth part is from the translator,readers,source language and From the four perspectives of the target language,analyze the Translational Eco-Environment of 'Wuxiaworld' martial arts terminology translation;use "three-dimensional conversion" to analyze the 'Wuxiaworld' translator team in translating martial arts terminology and make different strategies for different situations;later passed Ecological translation standards such as "multi-dimensional transformation","translator quality",and "reader feedback" test the translation validity of the translation of the 'Wuxiaworld' translator team;the fifth section draws conclusions and gives suggestions,and points out the contents of this article.Limitations and deficiencies.
