Mou Zongsan quoted Kant’s moral philosophy of self discipline to judge Zhu Zi’s study as moral heteronomy, which caused many discussions in the academic circles.Mou Zongsan regards Zhu Zi’s mind as the heart of experience and cognition. He thinks that Zhu Zi’s mind and nature are divided into two parts, which leads to the fact that although the nature of Zhu Zi is reasonable,it is not enough to stand up.Therefore, his morality can only be heteronomy morality. However, beyond Mou Zongsan’s thinking frame,we can see that Zhu Zi’s mind has two dimensions of"original mind meaning" and "experience mind".Mou Zongsan’s judgment is made on the level of "experience mind",and in the level of "original mind meaning",the morality of Zhu Zi’s study can also prove the self-discipline morality.Although this practice seems to have a sense of cutting one’s feet to fit one’s shoes,it is still an attempt to understand Zhu Zi’s moral philosophy. This paper discusses the dimension of "the original meaning" in Zhu Zi’s study, and then discusses the proof of self-discipline morality in Zhu Zi’s study, and finally reaches the conclusion that Zhu Xi’s theory is the coexistence of self-discipline morality and heteronomy morality. The first chapter mainly discusses the mind of Zhu Zi.By elaborating the ideological process of Zhu Zi’s theory of ZhongHe between the old and the new,it attempts to explain the two levels of meaning of Zhu Zi’s mind, namely "original heart meaning" and "experiential heart".Therefore,it is possible to prove the achievement of self-discipline morality. The second chapter discusses the"original mind meaning"of mind of Zhu Zi,focusing on Zhu Zi’s Dao Xin,Ming De,and "consciousness"-the self activity ability of the mind, trying to prove the moral subject standing in Zhu Zi’s study. The third chapter discusses the practice of self-discipline morality in Zhu Zi’s learning from the perspective of the theory of"self-discipline",which is embodied in the process of "self-restraint requires respect, while learning requires knowledge".Beyond Mou Zongsan’s thinking frame, the fourth chapter mainly discusses the coexistence of self-discipline and heteronomy in Zhuzi’s studies, and reflects on whether it is appropriate to introduce "Kantian"concept of self-discipline and heteronomy into Zhuzi’s study.
