The Application Of Traditional Chinese Mounting And Restoration Technology In The Preservation Of Calligraphy And Painting On Paper

The traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy mounting technology was mostly passed on by mouth between teachers and students before it became an undergraduate major,and many techniques did not have normative expression or clear requirements for production standards.The mounting technology of paper calligraphy and painting has been very mature,but the preservation method after mounting has not been explained in detail,but exists in each mounting step.Although the material of paper calligraphy and painting is stable in nature,its texture is fragile,and a little carelessly in the preservation process may cause damage.Thus causing losses,affecting the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture.Based on the practice and theoretical learning during undergraduate and graduate studies,this paper extracts and sorts out the techniques and techniques of mounting and repairing technology in the preservation of paper-based painting and calligraphy from the perspectives of preservation environment,preservation methods and preservation concepts.
