On The Similarities And Differences Of The Images Of Laboring Women In Chinese And Western Paintings

For a long time,"female image" occupies a very important position in art works.As a painting theme,it is expressed in various forms by painters.However,in the past,the research on "female image" is not extensive in the field of traditional art.At present,there is no large-scale research trend.As for the research on the subject of "working female image",it only appears as a part of the research on "female image" in art works.This paper mainly studies the "working women image" in Chinese and Western paintings,aiming to fill the blank part of the research field."The image of working women" is a compound word,which is composed of the image of labor and women.In real life,the concept of "labor" refers to the purposeful spending of labor by people with labor ability and labor experience in the production process.The extended working women refer to those women who obtain survival materials through physical labor.They live at the bottom of the society and sell their labor in exchange for necessities of life "Sex image" here refers to a certain type of female image in painting works,and it is another existence corresponding to the female image of those idle upper class society.Through literature research and works analysis,this paper classifies the images of working women in Chinese and Western paintings,and analyzes the artistic characteristics of their works in combination with the artist's background,so as to analyze the deep significance of the images of working women in the works.
