| With the increase of the number of Chinese learners in the international community,the number of Volunteer Chinese Teacher has been growing.The volunteer project of Chinese teacher not only provides teachers for foreign Chinese teaching,but also provides opportunities for MTCSOL to improve their professional ability.However,their employment after returning home also faces various difficulties and challenges.This paper based on the long-term and stability of the project,conducts an investigation on the employment status of this group,and analyzes the questions they encounter in employment The question is helpful to the individual development of volunteers and the sustainable development of volunteer projects.In this paper,63 volunteers and 82 ordinary graduates of Qufu Normal University from2012 to 2020 are selected as research samples.By using the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and comparative analysis.Explores the influence of the volunteer project on the volunteers in the living area,job-hunting time,career planning,employment status,career satisfaction and other aspects,and based on the survey data analyze the causes of these effects,and then makes in-depth thinking combined with the survey data and existing problems,and puts forward feasible suggestions to the volunteers and school.This paper consists of seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which briefly introduces the research background,research significance,research methods,and summarizes the relevant literature review.The second part is the investigation process of the employment status of returned Chinese teachers volunteers in Qufu Normal University.It mainly expounds the investigation purpose,investigation objects and research steps,questionnaire design and interview design,and discusses the theoretical basis of the reliability and validity of the design.The third part is the basic information of the volunteer in Qufu Normal University,including gender,age,marital status and sending country,etc.The fourth part is the employment situation of returned Chinese teachers volunteers in Qufu Normal University.According to the survey data,this paper compares and analyzes the differences between the volunteers and the ordinary graduates who have not participated in the volunteer program in terms of living areas,job-hunting time and duration,career planning and job satisfaction,and draws the conclusion of the survey on the employment situation of returned volunteers.The fifth part deeply considers the causes of these influences.According to the survey,this paper expounds the influencing factors of volunteer project on the employment of volunteers from four aspects: sending country,length of time,post training and Chinese teacher volunteers themselves,and mainly reveals the problems existing in the employment of returned volunteers.The sixth part puts forward suggestions to the volunteers and training institutions according to the influencing factors and existing problems.This paper puts forward some countermeasures to the volunteers,such as changing their employment thinking,doing a good job in career planning,improving their career cognitive ability,formulating reasonable career expectations,and improving their comprehensive ability.This paper puts forward some suggestions to the school,such as combining the curriculum and training focus with the employment situation,broadening students’ practical ways,improving students’ practical experience,innovating ways and methods,and guiding students to do a good job in career planning.The final part is the conclusion.This part summarizes the content of whole paper and points out the deficiencies of the paper. |
