Research On The Calligraphy Of The Jiang Family In Jintan In The Qing Dynasty

The Jiang family went through Kangxi,Yongzheng,Qianlong and Jiaqing dynasties,and Jiang Heng,Jiang Ji and Jiang He made outstanding achievements in calligraphy,painting,lithology and calligraphy education.Jiang Heng advocated ancient methods and spent 12 years independently writing Shi Jing of Qianlong in calligraphy.He also paid attention to the calligraphy education of his descendants.His son Jiang Ji and grandson Jiang He also lived up to high expectations and inherited his family's learning.Jiang Ji and Jiang He had their own independent ideas on the basis of inheriting the calligraphy thought of their forefather Jiang Heng.Jiang Ji simplified and improved the old Jiugong character method,called "Jiugong New Style".Jiang He was proficient in lithology and texts,and made a certain contribution to official calligraphy.He collected the works of his ancestors and grandchildren on calligraphy of three generations into the Secret Records of Jiang's Travellings and the Original Calligraphy,which were published and engraved.Through the collection and collation of the inscriptions and postscripts,book treatises,anthologies and calligraphy works of the three generations of the Jiang clan in the Jin Tan of the Qing Dynasty,this paper studies the life and communication of the three generations,the editions of the works,the thoughts of calligraphy and the practice of calligraphy,and sorts out the positive effect of learning and cultivation on the calligraphy and calligraphy.This paper analyzes the three generations of Jiang's calligraphic works,and probes into their emphasis on calligraphic cultivation and theoretical achievements in the family calligraphy education,thus making special achievements in the family calligraphy education in the qing dynasty.
