Since the birth of implicit learning, its representation problem has always been a research hotspot in the field of implicit learning. In the context of limiting the artificial grammar paradigm, this research introduces different sensory channels and different degrees of familiarity, and examines the similarities and differences of implicit knowledge representations in the implicit learning of familiar and unfamiliar materials in hearing and vision.Further explore the influence of different familiarity and different sensory channels on mental representation to study the learning process and processing mode of implicit learning.Research purposes: This experiment aims to explore(1)the similarities and differences in mental representation between visual implicit learning and auditory implicit learning under high-familiarity materials(2)visual implicit learning and auditory implicit learning under low-familiarity materials Similarities and differences in mental representation.Research method: Experiment 1 used a mixed experimental design of 2(sensory channels: vision and hearing)× 4(test material regularity: R group,RR group,W group,WW group). The factor one sensory channel is a variable between subjects, which is divided into visual and auditory senses.Factor 2: The regularity of test materials is a variable within the subject, divided into four levels,R group: similar and in line with the grammatical rules,RR group: not similar but in line with the grammatical rules,W group: similar but not in line with the grammatical rules,WW group: those that are not similar and do not conform to the grammatical rules. The visual and auditory senses are tested by the above four levels respectively, and finally the total correctness rate is compared. The dependent variable is the correct rate of the participant's choice. The research method of experiment two is the same as that of experiment one.The difference is that experiment two uses Korean materials that the subjects are not familiar with, and experiment one uses English materials that are familiar to the subjects. The statistical method uses t-test and analysis of variance.Research results: In the first experiment,in learning English materials with high familiarity, the accuracy of auditory implicit learning and visual implicit learning are similar, and the difference between auditory and visual sensory channels is not significant.Auditory and visual are affected by the familiarity of the material.Influence, the processing modes of the two sensory channels are similar, following the example view and abstract view.In the case of similarity, the judgment of the grammar is mostly dependent on the similarity of the external letter string of the material. When the similarity cannot be used for judgment, the judgment needs to be based on abstract rules. In the visual channel, the performance of vision in familiar materials mostly depends on the external similarity of the materials for judgment.Experiment 2 In learning low-familiarity Korean materials, there are differences in the accuracy of auditory implicit learning and visual implicit learning, and there are significant differences in the two sensory channels of hearing and vision.Hearing and vision are affected by the familiarity of the material. These sensory channel processing modes are all judged by similarity under similar conditions, and more judged by the grammatical rules inside the material without similar conditions. For implicit learning of unfamiliar materials, hearing may be more dependent on the judgment of the internal grammatical rules of the materials, and the effect is better than visual.Research conclusions:(1)The visual and auditory sensory channels have differences in implicit learning representations in materials of different familiarity.(2)In highly familiar English materials, the processing modes of auditory implicit learning and visual implicit learning are similar, and the judgment is mainly based on similarity, and the difference between the two is not significant.Participants will first make judgments based on similarity, and then based on abstract rules.(3)In low-familiarity Korean materials, there are differences between auditory implicit learning and visual implicit learning.Under similar conditions, the judgment is based on similarity, and if there is no similar condition, the judgment is based on grammatical rules.(4)For implicit learning of unfamiliar materials, hearing may be more dependent on the judgment of the internal grammatical rules of the materials, and the effect is better.
