Implicit learning is nonintentional, automatic acquisition of knowledge about structural relations between objects or events by the organism's contact with environment, while explicit learning means that learning intentionally with effort. Human learning is composed of the implicit one and explicit one and can't leave either of them. With it's prolong theoretical significance and wide applying prospect, implicit learning has came to be one of foci and advanced areas of modern cognitive psychology. To study how processing level worked on implicit learning and explicit learning and to explore the feature of them, the mechanism of their knowledge representation and the interaction between them, my research, based on results from the study of processing level and according to subjects' attending degree and memorizing effect, distinguished meaningless implicit learning materials from different processing levels. With the purpose of studying how processing level and learning time worked on implicit learning and explicit learning under finite-state grammar condition with high difficulty, in experiment one there were four processing levels set for implicit learning: to count the letters; to count MV letters; to assess the happiness; to read and remember, while two levels for explicit learning: to research partial regulation and full regulation. And in experiment two, under expansive biconditional-grammar condition, with the purpose of studying how processing level worked on implicit learning and explicit learning and the changing process that implicit learning gained the regulation, there were also four similar processing levels set for implicit learning: to count NP levels; to count SV letters; to assess happiness; to read and remember, while the two same levels for explicit learning as in experiment one. The experiment showed:(1) Implicit learning was affected less by processing level. It could take place easily as under low processing level.
