Among college students,social anxiety has become a common psychological problem.It has serious harm to the mental health of college students.Researchers are paying more and more attention to social anxiety.After entering university,individuals have experienced many negative life events in their daily lives.Combined with previous studies,there is a close connection between negative life events and social anxiety.Perceived social support can help individuals cope with psychological stress and relieve avoidance behavior and negative emotions caused by social anxiety.Reasonable coping styles can also reduce the impact of individual negative emotions and improve psychological stress ability.Based on previous studies,this paper introduces the perceived social support and coping styles,and further explores the internal influence mechanism of negative life events on social anxiety.This article uses a questionnaire survey method to select 1059 college students,using the "Adolescent Life Event Scale","Perceived Social Support Scale","Simple Coping Style Questionnaire","Interaction Anxiety Scale" for measurement.Mainly use SPSS20.0 to conduct common method deviation test,difference analysis,and related analysis processing on data,and conduct mediation effect test through PROCESS macro program,and finally draw the following conclusions:(1)College students' negative life events have significant differences in grades and only-children;college students' perceived social support have significant differences in gender and grade;college students' positive coping styles have significant differences in gender,majors and grades,and negative coping styles are in majors and grades.There are significant differences in social anxiety among college students;there are significant differences in social anxiety among college students in gender,grade,place of residence,and only child.(2)In the correlation test,negative life events are significantly positively correlated with negative coping and social anxiety,and are significantly negatively correlated with perceived social support and positive coping;perceived social support and positive coping are significantly positively correlated,and are significantly negatively correlated with negative coping and social anxiety;social anxiety are significantly positively correlated with negative coping,and are significantly negatively correlated with positive coping.(3)Perceived social support plays a mediating role in the relationship between negative life events and social anxiety.(4)Coping styles play a mediating role between negative life events and social anxiety.(5)Perceived social support and positive coping play a chain-like mediating role between negative life events and social anxiety.
