| Hongzunyuchang cemetery is one of the Bohai remains with the largest number of unearthed and the richest unearthed relics.This paper is based on the relationship between burial customs and gender in cemetery from the perspective of gender archaeology.Excavations and studies of this graveyard Site mainly using statistical analysis method,overall excavations unearthed 323 tombs to analysis the gender differences reflected in tomb.There are four parts in this paper.Chapter 1 is the single-person adult tombs in Hongzunyuchang cemetery were studied,and the types,age structure and burial objects of adult males and females were analyzed respectively.Both male and female tombs are mainly stone grave,and secondary burials.The age of death is about 34 years-old,and the number of female tombs and burial objects is slightly larger than that of men.Chapter 2 is based on the adult multi-person burial tomb according to the sex of the burial members divided into adult same-sex burial,adult heterosexual burial.The number of same-sex burials among adults is small,and the interment of one man and one woman,two men and one woman and four or more among adults reflects the marriage and family burial system in Bohai society.Chapter 3 is based on the minor buried alone takes the small sarcophagus as the main form,and the quantity and type of burial objects are relatively simple.Most of the minors in the tombs are buried with their parents.It reflects that the family is the smallest unit of Bohai society,and embodies the firm concept of kinship and stable family structure of Bohai society.Chapter 4 is combing the burial of other tombs in Bohai period.The burial conditions of other Bohai tombs are basically the same as those graveyard there is no obvious gender difference between men and women in the form of tombs,burial objects,burial methods and so on.Generally speaking,men and women in Bohai society are basically in a relatively equal position. |
